Zaffer demands release of political detainees

Srinagar: Senior Resistance leader and chairman salvation movement Zaffar Akber Bhat demand early release of all Kashmiri political detainees languishing in different Indian Jails.

 

According to a statement issued to KNS, during his party’s mass contact program, Zaffer visited several areas of Pulwama district and visited the families of youth who have been arrested and lodged in Police stations.

 

Expressing solidarity with the victim families Zaffer said that it has been a routine matter of the security forces to terrify the Innocent Kashmiri youth and implicating them in fabricated cases. “Kashmiris particularly youngsters are always unsafe here,” he said addressing a gathering.

 

Zaffar said that by arresting and slapping PSA on the political workers and innocent youths of Kashmir cannot change the freedom sentiment of kashmiri people. He said that freedom is out birth right and people will continue their political struggle to achieve the freedom from Indian illegal occupation. While visiting martyrs family of the area, he retreated that the matchless sacrifices rendered by the people of Kashmir for self determination will not go waste.

 

He assured the victim families that the Kashmiris struggle is genuine and UN has acknowledged it while passing many resolutions about Kashmir dispute. He said that besides it, Indian leadership has promised to the people of Kashmir for right to self determination.  Zaffer said that till Kashmir freedom struggle reaches to its logical end, people will continue their political struggle despite of atrocities, killings, arrests, enforced disappearances, custodian killings and continue harassment of political workers.
