Is marriage indubitably the only key for the better future of girls? Well I think no definitely not. How can a girl be satisfied with anybody until she didn’t score her target. Our society is censurable for early marriages and domestic coercion. Whenever there is catechism of girl our mental make-up says dependable, week, emotional etc. But why week, why emotional and dependable; girls it’s our blooper we never raised voice against it. We are the strongest asset for the society. If we can give birth to new lives than what pluck us back when question comes on our ambitions. We can do a bang-up job in every field and mentally we are stronger than male folk. Being physically strong doesn’t mean the male folk will rule on us. Nature demands balance than why there is an imbalance in this case. You have been studying since a long time about the crime rate on women but all goes in ignorable bin.
Marriage in every religion is compulsory and I am also not against it but my point of view is why always girl sacrifices. In every fourth house of Kashmir the girl faces such situations and is torchered. Sometimes her dad rules on her sometimes brother and for rest of life her husband and in-laws. Then what is our identity, think about it. I’m not ignoring the fact we girls are emotionally very week and that’s why other took edge of it and make fun of us. Girls it’s high time, put your emotions and feelings in pocket and focus on what you want and fight for your self-respect.
Fight against indiscrimination, you need not to be afraid of anybody. It’s your life no one can rule on it, show your supremacy. Just don’t give damn on the taunts of society, their judgment is absurd. The balance of a family lies in the hands of mother, continuation of life is impossible without female, so everybody should respect this folk. I had already mentioned in one of the earlier article that the indiscrimination against women is not only of intra-sex but of inter-sex too which means not only males are responsible for these shameless activities but women too. Why from birth to death, women are supposed to be kept under the guardianship of men. It’s going to be hard to change this twaddle tradition but hard isn’t impossible. Fight against every indiscrimination and start from your home. Show everyone we are the crown of universe.
Early marriage is the main social problem that mars the development of the nation and according to UNICEF and ICRW, India stands in the list of “child marriage hot spots” at number 12 with a whopping 47% of women marrying before the legal age of 18 years. According to WCD (Women and Child Development Authority), it is estimated that there are 23 million child brides in the country. Now, these are seriously alarming numbers. Inspite of the law, “Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006; the problem continues to haunt states which include Jammu & Kashmir also. Early marriages are big threat to the human rights and denies the young of opportunity to grow and empower themselves.
Its high time society should understand the negative results of such cases and should take major steps and I think girls themselves should raise voice against it. Each and every day women suffers from many crimes from torturing to rape and still society always remain in the opposite side and curse these victims. But common wake up its 21 century and everybody has its own rights and freedom and we live in a country of democracy. We are not going to shut our mouths anymore, it’s our life we will live as we want and will prove to everyone we are the backbone of the entire plenum.
