Srinagar: With the life in Kashmir returning to normalcy while people defying the separatists shutdown calendars, the Huriyat Conference  lashed out on government employees and said that they have sold out of their minds and hearts.

They added that the student’s careers and their education have also been used for the pity and self gains by some people.

“When the people occupying the chairs have sold their souls and minds and the educated and intellectual class act as turncoats, a sorrowful cry or a louder thunder can’t shake their conscience,” the Huriyat (G) said in a press statement today.

The party said that the ‘bloodbath’ of innocents and the massive uprising of public even could not shake them who act as “beasts in human skin”.

The separatist party was reacting to the increasing normalcy in valley after it observed complete lockdown for over 130 days against the killing of top militant commander Burhan Wani on July 8.       “When even those whose hands are drenched in the blood of innocents claim to be the loudest voices of human rights— then even a loud thunder, a sorrowful cry and peaceful protests can no longer shake the conscience of these beasts in human skin,” the statement reads further.

Last week all the organizations representing all social and economic facets in Kashmir offered the mandate to the joint resistance group and assured complete support to continue the four months long shutdown.

The Hurriyat said that forces use every method and occasion for the ‘bloodshed’ of innocents and using force against the mourners.

“This may be the only place where people are carrying the coffins of their loved ones and those parroting the peace rhetoric, despite the bloodshed everywhere, act willingly as blinds to the real and basic issue,” the amalgam said.

It added that Kashmiris are peace loving people and their peace has been disturbed and tarnished none other than these stooges and their forces.

The Hurriyat said that forcing students to appear in exams in army garrisons and celebrating its victory is nothing but a shameful defeat for them.
