Jammu : Raising the issue of assault of two students in Haryana, ruling People’s Democratic Party MLA Anjum Fazili termed the incident unfortunate and urged the govt to ensure the safety and security of the students studying outside the state .
As soon as proceedings of the house began ,PDP MLA stood up from her seat and raised the issue of assault on two students in Mahendragarh town of Haryana yesterday. Fazili termed the incident unfortunate and asked the government to raise this issue with Haryana authorities .She said such incidents will further alienate our youth from the rest of India.
Minister for parliamentary affairs Abdul Rehman Veeri said police in Haryana have arrested three accused. Giving details, he said that two students from Jammu and Kashmir were thrashed allegedly by a group of 15 people in Mahendragarh.
“The police have arrested three of them and identified three more persons,” he told the House.
