Urban Ration Depots To Became Cashless By June

cashlessJammu: All fair price shops or ration depots in urban areas would be equipped with ATM swipe machines by the end of June this year.

The minister for CA&PD, Chowdary Zulfikar disclosed it today in a meeting with Jammu and Kashmir Bank chairman, an 0fficial spokesperson said.

According to the spokesperson, president, technology and assembly, J&K Bank Reshi Baru said that the bank is committed for the welfare of the state and “we assure you that all departmental FPS in urban areas will be equipped with ePoS by the end of June this year.”

Minister while speaking at the meeting said that his department wants to create a transparent system. He also said that they are trying hard to go for Digitization of entire process and making all 7,000 FP shops across the state cashless.

While stressing for the completion of the work on time he said that ePoS instillation would greatly help in making all FCS&CA transparent.
