Police Arrest 2 Medicos At Rainawari Hospital Over Theft

Two employees of JLNM hospital have been arrested over stealing government medicines at Rainawari hospital on Monday.

A police spokesman said in a statement:  “On 01-07-2018 police station Rainawari received information through reliable sources that some government employees of JLNM Hospital Rainawari are misappropriating the Government supply medicines from the said hospital and are selling these medicines to some medical shopkeepers.”

During the course of investigation two employees namely Shakeel Ahmad Shahid 50, son of  Bashir Ahmad Shahid resident of Housing colony Bemina (pharmacist) and Shameem Ahmad Khan 19 son of Bashir Ahmad resident of Khanpora Beerwah Budgam (sweeper )of the said hospitals were questioned and on their disclosure four boxes of medicine “METOCLOPRAMIDE INJECTION I.P” were recovered and subsequently both the employees were arrested,” they said.

Further investigation of the case is going on and further arrests are expected in the case, said the official.
