One Dies, 16 Injured In Road Mishaps

A minor died while sixteen others were injured in different road accidents across the valley.
In Baramulla, a Tata 407 bearing registration number JK05D-6254 turned turtle at Kuchumukam Chandoosa resulting in injuries to 15 passengers. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. Baramulla police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kupwara, a Wagon-R bearing registration number JK09A-5156 hit and injured a pedestrian Shamima Begum wife of Abdul Rashid Khoja resident of Bangarpati Dardpora at Batpora, Kralpora. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Kupwara police has registered a case in this regard.
In Awantipora, an L.P. Passenger vehicle bearing registration number JK03B- 0753 hit a six years old girl identified as Ainab Ashiq daughter of Ashiq Ahmad Shah resident of Tulbagh near Tulbagh Pampore, resulting in her on spot death. Awantipora police has registered a case in this regard. (Agencies)
