Srinagar: Pradesh Congress Committee has expressed serious concern over the sad demise of Surya and her newly born child due to the negligence of Medical staff in Sub District Hospital Bijbehara.

Surya who was pregnant were admitted in the hospital for delivery, but due to the negligence of Medical Staff in the Hospital both mother and child lost their lives due to the negligence. The pregnant lady was finally referred to LD Hospital where she breathed her last and her newly born child passed away in Bijbehra Sub District Hospital.

Describing this incident most unfortunate, PCC has demanded strict action against the erring medical Staff. Spokesperson said.

The higher authorities in the Health Department have not learned the lesson from the previous deaths happened in GB Pant Hospital. It seems health Department is in a deep slumber, unable to open its eyes to the negligence by the Medical Staff in Hospitals. (KNS)
