Modi Only PM Since 1996 Who Failed To Hold Assembly Elections In JK On Time: Omar

Date:

Srinagar: Hitting at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his failure to hold Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir on time, National Conference (NC) vice president and former chief minister Omar Abdullah Friday said that he (Modi) talks about IPL, but forgets his failure in Kashmir.

In a tweet, Omar said, “Why is the Hon PM talking about IPL? His is the first government since 1996 that has been unable/unwilling to have assembly elections in J&K on schedule. Why doesn’t he talk about that also?”. (KNS)
