Two women die after tree falls on them in Bandipora      Ganderbal

Ganderbal: A 40 year old man died and his two relatives were injured when a tree fell on the tent in wake of the high speed winds and rains in Ramwari area of Gund in Ganderbal district

Reports reaching KNO said that a Bakarwal family had erected a tent at Ramwari belt of Gund in Ganderbal area which came under heavy rains and winds at around 11.30 pm Tuesday. On Tuesday night, high-intensity winds hit some parts areas central Kashmir.

Official sources confirmed to KNO the incident and identified the deceased as Mohammad Yousuf Kalada son of Abdul Gani Kalada of Rajouri.He also identified two injured persons as Ghulam Haider and Abdul Lateef Son of Mahmood Both residents of Rajouri.

Meanwhile, in a separate incident two women died when a tree fell on them at Chandaji area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

Sources identified deceased as Shariefa Begum and Mubeena Begum of Chandaji village. Both the women were on the way to nearby forest area when a tree uprooted by winds fell on them.(KNO)
