JK Lt Governor pays obeisance at Mata Kheer Bhawani temple

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Friday paid obeisance at the Ragnya Devi temple called as Mata Kheer Bhawani at Tulmulla in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on the occasion of “Jyeshtha Ashtami”.

Sinha extended good wishes to the devotees and said that over 30,000 visited the temple this year and paid obeisance here.

“The devotees were ferried in over 200 buses from Jammu besides many came from Delhi and other parts,” Lt Governor told media persons after paying obeisance at the temple.

He said that administration, relief trust and the locals of the area had ensured best possible facilities to facilitate devotees.

The LG said Yatri Niwas which will accommodate 1000 pilgrims will be completed in the next eight months in the district.
