Jammu-Srinagar Highway Reopens For Traffic

The Jammu-Srinagar national highway, which had been closed due to snowfall and landslides since Thursday, was reopened for traffic.
Traffic was restored on the highway late last night after clearance of snow, a traffic police officer said, adding that all the stranded vehicles have been cleared.
The 300-km Jammu-Srinagar national highway was closed for vehicular traffic on Thursday following landslides triggered by heavy rain in Shir Bibi sector in Ramban district and snowfall in Jawahir tunnel and Banihal areas.(PTI)
