Srinagar: The students of Army Goodwill School Hanzik brought laurels to the school and their families after securing top honours in the recently concluded District Martial Arts Competition organised by District Youth Services and Sports Office, Budgam at Charar-e-Sharif Stadium, Budgam on 29 August 2018. During the competition, five students secured gold medals and one student bagged a silver medal.
Based on their stellar performance, five girls have now been selected for State Level Martial Arts Competition which is scheduled in the month of September 2018.
With the school and their families backing them up, the students are getting the necessary impetus to hone this important facet of their personality.
The school staff and the management have been on the forefront in identifying young talent and providing the students with such opportunities wherein they can channelise their energy towards a competitive and healthy future.(CNS)
