Srinagar: The Facebook page for Kashmir Crown appears to have been maliciously hacked. In one of the bizarre incident and breach of security in Facebook,the official Facebook news page of Kashmir Crown has become the latest victim to fall prey to hacking groups and their malicious intentions.
On December 5,kashmir Crown Facebook Page was hacked and reportedly some other news pages in kashmir were also attacked by internet terrorists.
Shahid Imran the main admin of Kashmir Crown said that news page Kashmir Crown was hacked by one of the person namely Jacob John who pretended to be working at Instant articles and Adsens.
The Kashmir Crown Page was hacked by the same group who have been attacking the popular pages frequently,said Shahid.
He said that if Facebook pages are hacked like this then these attacks should raise alarm bells for users who have insecure accounts, perhaps because of weak or reused passwords, linked up to crucial social media services such as Facebook.
Shahid imran the main admin of the page Kashmir Crown has appealed to Facebook authorities to restore his role as admin again.
He said that the Facebook Page was hacked through business manager of Facebook. This hacking attack has created threats among the Facebook users and has raised alarms in Jammu and Kashmir.
Another Admin of Facebook Page Kashmir News having more than 2 lakh likes also reported the same attack from other person Jhon Hodge.
Pertinently Facebook Page Kashmir Crown has about 3 lakh followers and is one of the popular news page in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
