Srinagar: On early Friday morning some gunshots were heard near Haril area of Handwara when patrolling party of 30 RR of Army was passing through the area. Official sources told GNS that a patrolling party of army’s 30 RR was passing early morning through Haril area when some gunshots were heard.
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off by army and SOG Handwara after this incident. As per the sources there is chance that militants may have taken shelter near by area. Till this story was filed searches were going on. (GNS)
