NC Welcomes Governor SP Malik’s Statement On Government Formation

Date:

Srinagar: National Conference Tuesday welcomed and complimented Governor Mr. SP Malik on his stand of not taking instructions from New Delhi and stopping it from installing BJP and its proxies as states CM.

In a statement issued from party headquarters Nawa-e-Subah, Party General Secretary Haji Ali Mohammad Sagar said, “If it is true, it certainly is a welcome development where state governor has exerted his authority in making a correct and sensible decision,” adding, “By doing so he has exposed the so-called third front as a power-hungry creation facilitated by BJP to create chaos and confusion in the state.”

Asserting that National Conference does not mind to fight an open battle against its adversaries, he praised Mr. Satya Pal Malik for dissolving the state assembly and stopping BJP and its proxies to form a government in the state.

“The lies and false accusations to which BJP and its proxies resorted to stand defeated today with Governor Sb himself making it clear how he withstood the pressure of installing BJP proxies as CM here,” he said.

“NC continues to live in the hearts of the people.

Their efforts of spreading false charges among people against us stand exposed,” he said and added, “Our party has fought for the rights of the people against the despotic rule and we succeed in providing a democratic set up to the state.

Over the years a number of conspiracies was hatched to stifle our voice but they never succeeded.”

Asking the BJP and its proxies to read the writing on the wall, the general secretary said, “In spite of money power that is being used, these forces will face an imminent defeat in the forthcoming elections.

NC was and will continue to be the premier political party of our state representing the aspirations of the people of the state.

No other political party in Jammu & Kashmir can be an alternative to NC as we will continue to work tirelessly for the welfare of the people of the state,” he said.  (GNS)
