The Legitimate Desk Kabul Shot Dead
In a brazen attack, terrorists killed a former female journalist in Kabul city of Afghanistan on Saturday.
Reports said that Mena Mangal, a well known journalist who worked for the Afghan parliament had left the journalism and was presently serving as cultural advisor to Parliament.
She was well known in the Kabul circles for presenting her shows on several television networks in the war torn country. She was gunned down in eastern Kabul in broad day light, according to interior ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi.
The investigation has been started but no further details were provided regarding the incident.
No one so far claimed the responsibility of attack while it is yet to be known why she was targeted.
