Srinagar: Conglomerate of militant outfits United Jehad Council Thursday said that there is a dire need of intellectuals, scholars and Educated lot to be part of ongoing freedom struggle in Kashmir as they are the ones who have the ability to sabotage the ‘tactics’ of Indian agencies.

Syed Sadaqat Hussain, the spokesperson quoted the outfit -Chief Syed Salahuddin as having said that time demands that educated and qualified people with vision and wisdom be part of the Kashmir Movement.

“The qualified youth are capable to foil all the designs of Indian agencies. Qualified people like Dr Manan Wani, Professor Muhammad Rafi Bhat, Muhammad Maqbool Bhat, Ishfaq Majeed Wani, Ali Muhammad Dar, Masood Tantray, Shamsul Haq and others not only were part of armed struggle but they also used pen for Kashmir cause,” he said while addressing a high level meeting of the outfit.

Syed Salahuddin as per a statement to news agency CNS said that 71 years of Kashmir history is testimony to the fact that India was and neither will be ready for a peaceful settlement of Kashmir issue so armed struggle is the only way to settle it.

“Every soul in Kashmir including budding youth know this fact that India is not sincere and ready for a peaceful resolution of Kashmir and that is why young militants like Burhan Wani became part of the armed struggle,” he said.

Salahuddin impressed upon Pakistan to be more active on diplomatic front and force international organizations to do the needful for the people of Kashmir and stop human rights violations.

”The UN Human Rights Commission exposed the ugly face of India but did nothing on ground. India is indulging in rights violations in Kashmir.

The political prisoners in Indian jails are living a wretched life and under a well hatched conspiracy, now the lives of women prisoners are being put at risk,” he said and paid rich tributes to those who sacrificed their lives for Kashmir Cause.

Salahuddin said that India has lost her battle in Kashmir and it will surely admit this sooner or later
