BJP Asks Each constituency Head to Bring 500 People to PM Rally

“People from Jammu region will not take part in the rally”

bjpSrinagar: Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) has directed all constituency heads in Kashmir to bring at least 500 people each from their areas for Prime Minister Narendra Modi November 7 at Sher-i-Kashmir Cricket Stadium.

The state BJP has been holding meetings with all the office bearers following the visit of BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav.

BJP spokesman for Kashmir, Khalid Jahangir, told KNS that Madhav had a meeting with all district and constituency heads who were asked to ensure participation of 500 people from his area in the rally.

He said that all the participants in the rally will be form Kashmir only. “We are not bringing people from Jammu province to the rally. It will be all Kashmiris who will take part in the rally,” Jahangir said.

Meanwhile, BJP held a meeting here of its office bearers, district Incharges, constituency incharges, senior leaders and defeated candidates of last assembly elections to chalk out a strategy for maximum participation of people in the upcoming Modi’s visit.

While presiding over the meeting, State Vice President and Incharge Kashmir Affairs, MLC Ramesh Arora appealed to all BJP leaders to organize various meetings and programs in Srinagar to motivate public for participating in the rally.

“It is a matter of pride that Prime minister of India is deeply concerned with the issues of J&K and is keen to solve the problems faced by this region also. Narender Modi is following the policy and programme initiated by former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee and will continue for the peace and prosperity of J&K especially this region,” he said.
