US has send an aircraft carrier striker, along with a Bomber Task Force group to the middle east, to send what it has ‘’called a clear message’’ to the Iranian Regime. USS Abraham Lincoln and another warship with Bombers have been supported in dispatch.
The carriers were docked from Croatia on Wednesday on May 11, and now have been diverted to Iran with already crossing Suez Canal in Red sea, near Egypt.
Tensions between the two countries have further escalated due to this unexpected move taken out, after the instructions had come from the White-house against Iran.
According to the ”Wall-street Journal newspaper”, this decision was taken as a measure by US, right after receiving the intelligence inputs of Iran possibly moving some military assets that could jeopardize US assets, or interests in the Gulf region.
US NSA, Jhon Bolton said, that it was done in a retaliation to ‘‘troubling developments’’ in the region.
Earlier, in a statement coming from the White-house had revealed that, US was keeping no grudges or intentions of stirring a war with Iran, but can’t afford to compromise with the security of its interests and assists in the region. It said, that it would respond back relentlessly at any attack from Iran.
The missile system deployed is a ‘Defence Mechanism’, capable to thwart drones, aircraft, cruise missiles and ballistic missiles, and has presently been positioned in Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, Qatar and the UAE.
In response to this, Iran has termed the move by US as a ‘‘physiological warfare’’ which they [US] as according to Iran has been designed by them to instigate and intimidate Iranian Government for reacting back aggressively.
The sudden advancements of deploying forces came as a tougher response from US, after Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani, just a couple of days before or more, had said that Iran wouldn’t hesitate to suspend its obligeance to many commitments made in JCPOA pact, in 2015.
Iranian economy is facing regular debacles with the sanctions imposed on its country by the US. These sanctions in a form of Embargo on selling of Iran’s significant resources like Oil globally, has disrupted and deeply perplexed the flow in Iranian economy.
However, Iran is stiff in its recent decision of partially withdrawing from implying to the certain parts of the agreements mentioned in the 2015 nuclear deal. Last year, President Trump of US, had pulled out of the deal, and had called it as a ‘‘horrible one’’.
This sudden withdraw of US from the JCPOA spiralled an increasing rigidity between US and Iran.
While reacting back on this new Armed hardware installations into the middle east by US, one of the known Iranian clerics ‘Ayotallah Tabatbai Nejad’, in the city of Ifshan was quoted by Iran’s native agency IANS, as saying that this new deployed billion dollar fleet of US can be tattered to pieces with just a single missile by Iran.
He further stated, ‘If they attempt any move , they will face dozens of missiles because at that time [government] officials will be in no charge to act cautiously , but instead things will be in the hands of our beloved leader [Ayotullah Ali Khameini]”.
This was also expressed as a sign of growing melancholy in ongoing relations of Iran with West. As no country, including ‘‘UK, France, Russia, China and Germany,’’ signatories in JCPOA, could help in mutilating the tensions between Iran and US, and eventually have failed to protect the country of Iran from all the US sanctions.
