Poonch: A 6th class student of Army Goodwill School (AGS) died in a road mishap at Surankote in the border district of Poonch on Wednesday late afternoon.
Reports reaching GNS said the student Saqib Ali son of Liyaqat Amin resident of Mirza Mohr Surankote, studying at Army Goodwill School Potha, Surankote was returning home after school in a bus bearing number JK11-3799.
The student was standing at the door of the bus and suddenly fell down from the moving vehicle, they said adding that the student suffered serious injuries in the head injuries.
He was immediately taken to Sub-District Hospital Surankote where doctors declared him brought dead.
Concerned SHO, Surankote, Somraj confirmed the incident to GNS and said that the vehicle was seized and a hunt has been launched to nab the absconding driver.
“A case under FIR number 272/2018 has been registered and further investigations were taken up,” the SHO said. (GNS)
