The Jammu and Kashmir governor Dr N N Vohra made an appeal to separatists to get engaged in the dialogue process with the interlocutor Dineshwar Sharma. Though the appeal was not direct but has been appreciated widely in socio-political circles.

As a part of the peace building process, Governor has appealed to all the sections of the society to engage in dialogue with the point man of New Delhi who had earlier refused to be part of the dialogue process.

The appeal was made by Vohra during his inaugural speech of the Budget session which started in Jammu today.

The “elected and electorate” have both equal share in the healthy development of the society and both have to rise together against the people who are always hell bent to spoil and malign the image of state,” he said.

He also hailed the efforts of Army, paramilitary forces and police who have been operating in the most dangerous situations, scarifying their lives in the fight against violence and terror.
