Though my president loss the elections despite our team did some wonderful work for the traders and people of the town.

A: Victory always comes with the responsibility. I am not only representing those who voted for me, but I will be also dedicated for those who didn’t vote for me. People of my town, especially traders will find me on the forefront to resolve their issues. It is difficult as people have lot of expectations from us.
Q; Despite being a Trade body why president and general secretary takes interest in other issues which pertains to local assembly member?
A: It is true, our main mandate is to resolve issues of traders, but we can’t close our eyes once it comes to the day to day problems of common people. Since we have been highlighting issues of the town and district that was the only reason why people, young and old took so much interest in this election. The common people have high hopes on us and we won’t let them down. Though our priority will always be to resolve issue of traders.

A: We will try to get separate – Mother and Child Care hospital in the old hospital complex and will strive problems of the traders. We will try to get a new bypass for Baramulla town without disturbing the trade community or dismantling of shops. We will also try to get three parking slots in the town, besides bathroom complexes in different markets. Also our focus will be on 24×7 lighting in all the markets and we will try to create fresh bus and sumo stands in the town to reduce traffic jams. We will also try to build a separate corpus fund for traders to meet medical emergencies of poor traders.
