Six Residential Houses Damaged In Fire

Six residential houses were damaged in three separate fire incidents in the valley, police said today.

Fire broke out in the residential house of Mohammad Shafi Bhat resident of Zangalpora in the jurisdiction of Police Station Devsar, Kulgam. 

The fire engulfed nearby residential houses belonging to Gull Mohammad Bhat and Fayaz Ahmad. 

Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals, said an official.

In another incident, fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Aziz Rather resident of Patoo Mohalla Ajas, Bandipora, resulting in damage to the house. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.

In another incident, fire broke out in the residential houses of Showkat Ahmad Lone and Bashir Ahmad Lone residents of Bewoora Srigufwara, Anantnag, resulting in damage to both the houses. Fire tenders brought fire under control with the help of police and locals.

However, no loss of life or injury was reported in these incidents.(Agencies)
