Raja Farooq Haider Khan Is New PaK PM

Raja Farooq Haider Khan of Pakistan Muslim League-N has been elected as new Prime Minister of Pakistan administered Kashmir (PaK), media reports said.
The voting for election of new Leader of the House was held in Muzaffarabad on Sunday, reports said.

According to Radio Pakistan Raja Farooq Haider Khan secured 38 votes while a joint candidate of Muslim Conference and PTI Ghulam Mohi ud din Dewan and Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen of Pakistan Peoples’ Party bagged five votes each.
Oath taking ceremony of the newly elected Prime Minster would be held in Muzaffarabad on Sunday afternoon.
PaK President will administer oath to the new Prime Minster of the state.

Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has congratulated Raja Farooq Haider on being elected as Prime Minister of ‘PaK it said.
“In his facilitation message he expressed the confidence that new Prime Minister will work for the development and prosperity of the people of PaK. New PM will support the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their just and legitimate struggle for their right of self-determination,” the radio report added.
