Large number of people on Tuesday participated in the Nimaz-e-Jinaza of Manzoor Ahmad Dar of Rawalpora, Srinagar.

Manzoor presumed dead, now was arrested and disappeared in custody by the personnel of Indian army fourteen years ago.  

Manzoor’s family had decided to offer funeral-in-absentia coinciding with the 14th year of his disappearance.

His Nimaz-e-Jinaza was led by Pir Saifullah of Tehreek-e-Hurriyat.

Manzoor, a resident of Rawalpora, was picked up by army personnel during the intervening night of 18th and 19th January 2002
