J&K Pradesh Congress Committee held a public meeting at Charar-I-Sharief. The meeting was presided over by MLC and Vice President Gulam Nabi Monga
Senior Party Leaders and workers attended the meeting. Addressing the gathering MLC G. N. Monga said that Congress Party has never changed colours for the sake of power and remained dedicated to its cause of strengthening, serving the people and committed to overall development of the State.
He said Congress Party feels highly concerned and is duty bound to seek resolution of the issues confronting people of the State. People are facing multiple issues due to the wrong policies of coalition Govt led by PDP and Govt has miserably failed address the issues, he said.
Reacting to the so called developmental agenda of the PDP BJP Coaltion, G. N. Monga reminded the people of 2 ½ years rule of Congress Govt under the Chief Ministership of Gulam Nabi Azad, he said State of Jammu and Kashmir has touched new heights in respect of Development, Education, Transparency, corruption free system etc and it was the Congress Party which has whole heartedly supported the then Chief Minister Late Mufti Mohd Syed in every respect, to run the State, he added.
On this occasion G.N. Monga sanctioned funds for two Transformers for Alamdar Colony Charar I Sharief, as the people in this area were without electricity for a long time.
On this occasion District President Congress Zahid Hussain Jan told the gathering that Congress Party won’t compromise on people’s issues and will continue to fight for their resolution,
