Police Seize 577 Liquor Bottles in Kargil

Kargil, Oct 21, CNS: Police in Kargil town Wednesday arrested five labourers from Nepal for illegally selling liquor in the town. During a raid police raided the rented accommodation of these labourers at Kabadi Nallah Kargil and recovered around 577 bottles of illicit liquor and some 40 litres of Desi wine from the culprits.
 SSP Kargil Rahul Malik told CNS that they some responsible people from the town had informed that these Nepalese labourers have been selling liquor to some people. “We raided their rented accommodation and recovered the illicit liquor from them,” he said adding that all the accused have been arrested and a formal case has been registered against them.
