Optimistic JK Football Team Eyes At Santosh Trophy

In the ongoing 70th Santosh Trophy National Football Championship held at GGM Science College, JK team is quite hopeful of making history as the team has planned everything in an upright manner.

 JK team head coach Hilal Parray while being optimistic about his team said, “We came here to qualify and are hopeful, as we have young guys in our team who are very energetic and hard working.

Also association have brought young new faces into the team so that they can play for years to come and such tournaments would definitely add to their experience.”

While the football lovers at home are all watching the game with full zeal and passion. Basit Rehman a football enthusiast said in a cherishing tone, “this time JK has a bright chance of winning the trophy as we have some best players like Adnan, Shah Nawaz and Captain Kamaljeet.”

JKFA District president Srinagar, Farooq Ah Sofi said, “Ours is a talented team and we have good preparations for all the matches to come.”

Danish who plays as a midfielder said, “In the 70 years of Santosh trophy JK has never been able to win or have been runners but this time we are hopeful and we come up with good preparations. I have full faith on my team mates, they will put their best efforts to make history this time.”

JK is now all set to clash with Chandigarh on 8th of February.
