Srinagar: Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq Tuesday expressed condolences with the prominent resistance leader and Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Provisional President, Noor Muhammad Kalwal over the death of his mother.
According to a statement issued to KNS, Mirwaiz, who led the Nimaz-e-Janaza of Kalwal’s mother, expressed sympathy with the bereaved family of Kawal and the entire JKLF leadership.
He said Kalwal’s mother, like mothers of all other resistance leaders, had shown strength and resolve to live with the pain of separation of their sons, face victimization and other numerous problems.
Mirwaiz expressed sympathy with Kalwal and his family and prayed for the peace of the departed soul and a place in Jannat for her.
Javed Ahmad Mir, and a dozen other Hurriyat leaders who participated in the Nimaz-e-Janaza of Kalwal’s mother, paid rich tributes to her. (KNS)
