MeT Predicts Rains For Four Days From Thursday

Meteorological Department on Wednesday predicted a fresh spell of rainfall for four days in Kashmir Valley starting from March 24.

 A spokesman in a statement issued to news agencies said that Kashmir Valley would receive isolated rainfall on March 24, widespread on March 25, fairly widespread on March 26 and scattered on March 27. hhhh

However, there is no weather warning during these four days.

The weather is expected to improve from Sunday, said the statement.

Only last week, Kashmir Valley witnessed heavy rains and snow which resulted in landslides and caving in of houses at scores of places while Srinagar-Jammu highway also remained closed for the vehicular traffic.

 The MeT has also predicted rainfall in Jammu Division from March 24 to March 27. The heavy rains last week resulted in loss of several lives parts of Jammu Division.(Agencies)
