Srinagar: A minor girl died after she drowned into a well while playing in Lolab area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Wednesday.
Reports reaching GNS that the minor identified as Rutba Ramzan, 4, daughter of Mohammad Ramazan Malla, resident of Siver Dudban Lolab, died after she fell into well on Wednesday afternoon.
Relatives of the deceased said that, Rutba Was playing within the lane and in no time she went missing. We couldn’t find her but after some time we found her lying in the well, they said. After recovering from the well, Rutba She was taken to local health centre where doctors declreared her brought dead.
Concerned Station House Officer Kuligam, Mudasir Ahmad confirmed the incident and said that after conducting a legal medical formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites. (GNS)
