Four residential houses and cow sheds were damaged due to a landslide in Kangan area of Ganderbal district early Saturday.
Following the reports of landslides a police team of police station Kangan reached the spot and evacuated the people from the nearby houses to safer areas.
“Four residential houses have got damaged due to landslides,” SHO Kangan, Raiees Hassan who was on the spot told reporters. He added that several families living nearby have been shifted to safer areas.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, Showket Aijaz has also sent a team of officials to the area.(Agencies)
