Jammu: The Speaker, Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta Thursday issued provisional calendar for sittings of 3rd Session of the 12th Legislative Assembly.

As per the Provisional Calendar, starting from January 18, with Governor’s address to Legislature, the House sittings would continue till March 9, 2015.

According to the calendar discussion on motion of thanks on Governor’s address and reply thereto will be held on 19th, 20th and 21st January, Annual Financial Statement of Expenditure for 2016-2017 and Presentation of Supplementary Statement of Expenditure for 2015-2016 will be on January 22nd. The general discussion on budget will be held on January 25th, 27th and 28thending with reply thereto.

As per the calendar the demands for grants for various departments would be taken up from January 29th to February 26th and the Appropriation Bills will be taken up on February 27th. There shall be Government Business on February 29th.

Private Members Resolutions will be taken up on March 1st and 3rd and Private Members Bill on March 4th and March 8th. There will be Government Business on March 2nd and 9th if any, the calendar issued says. (KNS)
