KCDS Condemns Govt for Not Releasing Teachers’ Salary

rinagar: KCDS strongly condemns the government for not releasing the salaries of teachers for the last five months.
“It is a criminal act of government not to pay salaries to teachers. What will these teachers feed to their families? Will they go begging for their bare survival? How could they perform their duties of teaching children when they are preoccupied with the anxiety of feeding their own children?” KCDS said in a statement to KNS.
It said the Government of the day has enormous funds for running propaganda machinery to hoodwink people but none to pay the hard earned salaries of many of its employees.
“We call upon the government to immediately release the salary of teachers of SSA to end their distress,” the civil society group said. (KNS)
