The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) has decided to defer the Kashmir Administrative Service (KAS)–2016 preliminary exams by a couple of weeks.

Earlier, officials said the KAS-2016 preliminary exams were scheduled from  February 19, however, the commission has decided to further defer the exams by couple of weeks.

 Secretary PSC, Shakeel ul Rehman Rather confirmed that the KAS-2016 preliminary exams will be deferred to March next year.

“The KAS 2016 preliminary exams will be deferred to second week of March next year. We have selected March 12 and 19 as tentative dates for this exams. We will try to start the exams from 12,” Rather said.
