ISIS targeting Musliacross globe: Mehbooba Srinagar, Nov 23 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president, Mehbooba Mufti Sunday said that Islamic State (ISIS) is targeting Muslim communities across the globe due to which hundreds of Muslihave lost their lives. Addressing a public convention here at PDP headquarter, Mehbooba Mufti said that Musliin large have been so far killed by the newly formulated group (ISIS) who are defaming the name of Islam. “Killing innocents can’t prove anything,” Mehbooba said, adding that there is a need of peace and harmony which will prove fruitful to all the communities including Muslims, Hindus, Sikhs and others. She said that the actions of ISIS are condemnable in every aspect. Pertinently, Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation front (JKLF) has termed the ISIS group as unislamic while the group has been termed as anti-Islamic group also by the Islamic Jurists of Jammu and Kashmir. Hurriyat (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani has also called the actions of ISIS and Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan unislamic. "The actions and course of action of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan, ISIS and Boko Haram like organizations are totally unislamic," Geelani has said. (KNS)
