If BJP Loses Bihar, Terrorists in Pak will Celebrate: Amit Shah

AMIT SHAH1BJP president Amit Shah on Thursday warned voters that terror cells at home and in Pakistan would celebrate if they help the Grand Alliance (GA) win the election in Bihar.
“It was during their (GA) time that Bihar turned into a haven for terror modules. And do you think Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar will celebrate victory of the GA wins? If BJP loses, they (terror groups) will celebrate in Pakistan with crackers, and only the likes of Mohammad Shahabuddin would be laughing,” Shah said while addressing rallies at Bagaha, Valmikinagar and Raxaul.
Shahabuddin, serving a life sentence, represented the RJD in the Lok Sabha four times from Siwan.

Urging people to have faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and rise above caste and creed to vote for development, the BJP chief said if the BJP loses “even by mistake” the impact will be felt not only in Bihar, but also across the borders.
“But that situation will not come as Nitish Kumar will have to pack his bags on November 8. Out of 121 seats that have gone to polls in the first three phases, NDA will get around 100, as people have seen through the Nitish-Lalu design,” Shah said.
“Nitish Kumar is just a mask, while the real face is of Lalu Prasad that will hold the reins. Their alliance is just to mislead the people for power.”
Shah said Kumar was “carrying the baggage of Prasad’s jungle raj on one shoulder and of the corrupt Congress on the other”.
At yet another public meeting during his whirlwind tour, Shah said the echo of Bihar election results would be felt in Rahul Gandhi’s ‘nanihal’ (maternal grandmother’s place in Italy) too.
Shah’s statement, apparently aimed at polarising voters in the crucial fourth phase, was a sequel to BJP’s morning advertisement in newspapers asking Nitish Kumar and Lalu Prasad to answer why Bihar has been turned into a haven for terror outfits.
“Why do Jaish-e-Mohammad, Hizbul Mujahideen and other terror outfits find Bihar a safe place? How could Indian Mujahideen’s Tehsheen Akhtar move around with the laptop of al Quaida to sow the seeds of terrorism in Madhubani, Samastipur and Muzaffarpur? Why is ISI and LeT spreading its tentacles in Darbhanga, Madhubani, Champaran, Saharsa, Purnia and Muzaffarpur?” the advertisement asked, questioning the claims of “good governance”.(Agencies)
