Highway to remain open for one-way traffic on Nov 7, 8: IGP Traffic

Srinagar: The traffic on Srinagar-Jammu Highway will not be closed on November 7 due to the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the state, traffic officials said.
Talking to KNS, Incharge In-charge Inspector General of Police Traffic, J&K, Viplav Kumar said the one-way traffic will ply from Srinagar to Jammu on November 7 and 8.
“Highway will not be closed on November 7 on the visit of Prime Minister. Traffic will move for two day (on Nov 7 and 8) from Srinagar to Jammu for Darbar move,” Kumar told KNS.
Kumar said that the reports about closure of Highway on November 7 were wrong. (KNS)
