Govt Formation Not On The Outline Of Today’s PDP Meeting

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti is scheduled to chair a meeting of office bearers and workers in Srinagar on Sunday as suspense over government formation continues.
PDP sources said the agenda of the meeting is to discuss ways to strengthen party at grassroots level and there will be no talks over government formation.
“There will be no discussion on government formation in the meeting as the party has given full authority to its president to decide on the issue,” PDP spokesman Naeem Akhtar told a local news agency. "The meeting is entirely to discuss party affairs," he said.
Mehbooba Mufti has earlier indicated that she is not in a hurry to form the government with the BJP in the state.(Agencies)
