Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking at the celebrations on the completion of two years of his government said ‘over the last 15 days, the work of the Government of India is being very carefully analysed and all aspects are being seen closely.’ “In a democracy it is vital to analyse everyone’s work. But we can’t make a mistake of creating a false atmosphere of despondency,” Modi said at the event.

Those who were earlier looting the nation are not enthused by this Government,” Modi said, speaking at the event. Highlighting the unprecedented steps taken by the NDA government to combat corruption, Modi said that if we compare the work done by the previous government, we will notice the developments done by the present governnment. “No one can disagree that previous government was infected with corruption, but after we came to power we stressed on eradicating corruption,” Modi said.
Modi said: “In our campaign to stop corruption, we saved over Rs 36,000 crore leakages. Government has found over a crore fake ration cards.” The people of India have placed their faith in us, the prime minister said. “We have left no stone unturned in our hardwork. Yes what we know is money belongs to the poor and the poor must get the fruits of development,” Modi said. Promising to bring LPG connections to more people, Modi said: “In the next 3 years we will bring LPG connections to 5 crore people.”(Agencies)
