Fire broke out Friday in the steel furnace of Diamond grinding steel industries IGC in Lassipora at around 2:50 pm resulting injuries to four employees.
The injured employees have been identified as Ramu S/o Brijlal R/o Gorakhpur, UP; Ganesh Kumar S/o Manohar Singh R/o Nawabgunj, UP; Ravi Das S/o Saman R/o Agra, UP; Rahi S/o Chattoraj R/o Bihar.
All the injured employees have been hospitalized for specialized treatment, while all the other employees of the unit have been evacuated.
Meanwhile, Police and fire tenders are on job and situation is said to be under control.(Agencies)
