Srinagar, July 21:Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Mehmood Shah has said that all those organizations who are taking part in India’s “sham democratic” Elections are betraying Jammu Kashmir’s indigenous struggle.

LeT spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Ghaznavi in a statement issued to GNS quoted Shah as saying that those participating in India’s “sham” elections in J&K will get nothing out of this “blatant deception”.

“India is not a democratic country. Had that been a case, it would have implemented the UN Resolutions on Kashmir,” Mehmood Shah said.

He said PDP and NC are not any big organizations than the United Nations. “India is using these parties to fulfill its vicious motives, ultimately with an intention to damage the indigenous struggle,” he said.

“These parties believe that they are a part of governance but in reality, BJP has decided to break PDP and they will do so eventually,” LeT chief added.

Shah said Jammu Kashmir’s political situation has caught its pace after the Amarnath yatra. He said the mourners of Mehbooba Mufti’s “political demise” will be in far much less numbers than those who took part in the funeral prayers of Mufti Sayeed.

Lashkar chief strongly condemned the “atrocities” inflicted upon the residents in Harwan, Sopore, and slain militant Sajjad Ahmed Abu Mansoor’s family members by forces. (GNS
