Chief Minister, Mehbooba today asked Deputy Commissioner Budgam and SSP Budgam that they should not henceforth come to Srinagar International Airport during CM’s departure and arrival.
“I want to discontinue this tradition or protocol, whatever it is. Henceforth you will not come to the airport when Chief Minister leaves or arrives,” the Chief Minister told DC Budgam and SSP Budgam on her arrival from Jammu today.
The DC Budgam and SSP Budgam had, as per set protocol, arrived at the Airport to receive the Chief Minister.
“Instead of coming to the Airport every now and then to see-off and receive the Chief Minister, you better spend that time in your respective offices attending to the issues of public concern,” she told the two officers. (KNS)
