Baramulla Attack: BSF Trooper Killed, Militants Escape

The militants in north Kashmir’s Baramulla town managed to flee after killing a BSF man and injuring another in an overnight encounter.
The official sources said that 3 or 4 militants attacked the army camp of 46 Rashtriya Rifles in Janbazpora at around 11:30 pm and attempted to storm into it. However, the attempt was foiled by the joint operation of BSF and 46 RR after a massive gun fire exchanged.
The sources said that after an hour long exchange of fire the militants ran while taking an advantage of darkness.
