Hurriyat (M) chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Saturday took a dig at the government move to send more troops to Kashmir.
Mirwaiz, who is under house detention, wrote on Twitter: “New Delhi govt has decided to send more troops to”prevent further loss of lives” arent half a million already (already) in #Kashmir enough to Kill?”
Earlier, New Delhi decided to rush 3,600 additional paramilitary personnel to the Valley and asked the state government to ensure that there is no further loss of lives.
Five civilians have died in police and forces action in past few days in Kupwara district of north Kashmir.(Agencies)
