7 Pilgrims Injured In  Accident On Srinagar-Jammu Highway

Seven Amarnath Yatra pilgrims got injured on Wednesday on Srinagar-Jammu highway in a road accident.

Reports said that a vehicle carrying the pilgrims  met with the accident in Chanderkote area of Jammu in which 7 pilgrims on way to Kashmir got injured.

“Three pilgrims died on Tuesday after a landslide hit the Brarimarg-Railpathri area on the Baltal trek stretch in the Ganderbal district,” IANS reported.

 There is an acute disturbance in the Amrnath Yatra since its beginning this year due to inclement weather conditions in Kashmir. The valley is witnessing frequent and incessant rain fall this summer prompting authorities many times to halt the Yatra.
